why hello dear girls...

So this blog is dedicated to all you sweet girls how I was blessed enough to hang out with so much this summer. I'm quite impressed that all you girls managed to not only convince our youth pastor to let me be a counselor on not 1 but 2 trips this summer, but you also somehow talked me into beginning this blog as a way to continue sharing stories with ya'll even though we can no longer have our face to face little powwows. So instead of doing homework or cleaning my room or planning for my meeting tomorrow night, I'm chosing to procrastinate and write to you lovely girls instead. So ya'll better feel quite special! So welcome to what might be known as the intro to everything that is soon to follow. So I shall work to make this short and sweet. But anywho, so as freshman year of college began, so did an entirely new chapter of my life. In an instant, I was removed from my family and all my friends I'd grown up with as well as my nice little comfort cirle. All of a sudden, I was surrounded by new things and had an opportunity to chose to be whoever I wanted to be, be with anyone I chose to be with, do whatever I chose to do, and so forth. I've been quite honest with you girls so far, and you all have a pretty good idea just how insecure I can get at times. And it was worse back then...waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy worse! I just wanted ever so badly to fit in, and as a result I was not too careful with the sort of people I chose to hang out with. Well, let me just say, that that was sooo not smart at all! You'll learn over the next few posts or whatever these things are called about the journey that my sweet Creator took me on to discover my true self. The person that He created me to really be. The lady He had in mind when He began to think me into being and actually weave me together 20 some odd years ago. It's been quite a trip I'm not going to lie, but our sweet Father has been revealing to me that as important as the ultimate destination is, the process is actually just as important. I hope this will be a fun way for me to share this journey with all ya'll in a random, funny, yet also deep way. That's what I want this blog to be all about I guess. It's just my way to share the story of how sweet our Father's beautiful love for each and every one of us is and how precious His forgiveness is. So I guess all that to say, I hope you will stick with me, and I shall talk to ya'll soon. I love ya'll!
